H2S2 consists of two musicians from Basel - Michael Stulz (drums) and Alex Hendriksen (Tenorsax), a guitar player from Lucern – Franz Hellmüller, and a bass player from Chur – Luca Sisera.

The mood among the four musicians is good. Some time ago they decided to search for a mutual sound ideal. What they came up with is an exciting, electric, energetic kind of musicwhich reminds of the hip and contemporary avantgarde music scene of New York. H2S2 plays music of the moment and today: direct, intuitive, genuine and fresh.

The repertoire contains compositions of all four bandmembers but also some tunes of contemporary jazz musicians such as Mark Helias or Paul Motian.

In March 07 they toured through Switzerland and recorded their debut album in April 07 which was released on Meta Records early 2008 and was praised by many critics.
